Just completed our deck installation and looking excellent. We selected the blackbutt board installed on composite battens directly onto concrete surface. Following the installation guide my builder did a great job and very happy with the product. Buyers ensure you undertstand the expansion and contraction when using butt jointed deck boards rather than the recommended barge board process which will minimise the joint distance. Although not used to seeing butt joints, we feel it still looks great and enabled us to have 12m runs horizontal to our outside wall, making it feel a lot larger space. Staff were great to work with and very knowledgable on their products, and easy in and out at their Carrara location. Recommend to any one looking for a lower maintenance and durable deck on the Gold Coast.
