# Gold Coast 40mm Premium Artificial Grass - Per Lineal Metre
Gold Coast 40mm Premium Artificial Grass: The Biggest Range of Roll Widths in AustraliaOur Gold Coast 40mm grass is the one most of our customers choose for a family lawn. It has a tall, dense 40mm pile blended from four colours, including brown and lime thatch, so it looks like a healthy, freshly mown lawn rather than a sheet of green. It feels soft underfoot and springs back after furniture, feet and paws. What sets it apart is the choice of widths. We stock the same grass in 2m, 2.5m, 3m, 4m and 5m wide rolls, the biggest range of roll widths in Australia. Most suppliers give you 2m and 4m and leave you to join the rest. With five widths you can usually match one roll to your lawn, which means fewer seams, a cleaner finish and less grass paid for and thrown away. Priced per lineal metre at $30 per m², whichever width you choose.Pick the right width for your lawn 2m: side paths, dog runs, balconies, strips between fence and house 2.5m: courtyards and narrow townhouse yards where 2m is not quite enough 3m: small backyards, pool surrounds and play areas 4m: the most popular size for a standard suburban back lawn 5m: large lawns and front yards, often laid with no joins at all Specifications Pile height: 40mm Four-tone colour blend with natural thatch for a realistic look High pile density for softness and durability UV-stabilised yarn, made for Australian sun Perforated, free-draining backing Free from lead and heavy metals; DIN, REACH and RoHS compliant Manufactured by a factory supplying FIFA, FIH, World Rugby and ITF-certified sports surfaces Roll widths: 2m, 2.5m, 3m, 4m, 5m Sold per lineal metre; full rolls are 20 lineal metres Price: $30 per m² Where it suitsBack lawns, front yards, pool surrounds, play areas, pet-friendly gardens, rooftops, balconies, display homes and commercial landscaping. If you want a shorter, firmer and lower-cost lawn, see our Tweed 25mm grass; for putting greens and sports areas, see our 13mm all-sport turf.Frequently asked questionsHow do I order?Choose your roll width, then enter the number of lineal metres you need. Price is per lineal metre of the width selected, so one metre of the 4m roll is 4m² of grass. Full rolls are 20 lineal metres.Which width should I choose?Pick the width closest to the shorter side of your lawn so you have as few joins as possible. If your lawn is 3.8m x 9m, order 9 metres of the 4m roll and you have no joins at all. For odd shapes, send us a sketch and we will work out the most economical cut.Is it safe for kids and pets?Yes. The grass is made without lead or heavy metals and complies with DIN, REACH and RoHS standards. Pet waste rinses straight through the perforated backing.Does it get hot?All artificial grass warms up in direct sun more than natural lawn. A quick hose-down cools it in minutes, and lighter installs with sand infill stay cooler for longer. Can I install it myself?Yes. Lay it over a compacted crushed-rock base (or an existing hard surface), trim with a sharp knife, fix the edges with turf pegs or nails and use joining tape where widths meet. We stock all the accessories. Can I see a sample first?Yes. Samples of the Gold Coast 40mm and all our other grasses are available from our Gold Coast showroom or can be posted to you.Stocked at our Gold Coast warehouse for pick-up, with delivery available Australia-wide.
